About WhittierSpec
WhittierSpec is a local project for Whittier, California. Neighbors write short specs about places they actually visited.
A spec is a review with a clock on it. While it is recent, it is marked fresh. As time passes it simply waits for the next person who was just there. The point is to show what is still true, not to archive what a place used to be.
You can read the city without an account. Signing up lets you post a spec, confirm someone else's, and keep a public profile. Points and titles are for fun on this site. They are not money.
WhittierSpec is not a national directory. It starts and stays focused on Whittier.
